We need your help!

Dear Friends and Neighbors of Historic Inlet Beach,

We are reaching out to ask for your immediate support as the Historic Inlet Beach Neighborhood Association (HIBNA) continues its legal fight with Walton County to protect our neighborhood and uphold the intent of the Inlet Beach Neighborhood Plan.

Why This Legal Battle Matters

Walton County is pursuing a revision to the Inlet Beach Neighborhood Plan under what has been described as a “scrivener’s error.” HIBNA firmly maintains that this revision must clarify the Plan’s original intent — specifically, that lodging accommodations are limited to no more than 10 lodging rooms.

This limitation is fundamental to preserving the historic character, scale, and livability of Inlet Beach. Without legal intervention, development inconsistent with the Plan’s intent could permanently alter our community.

We Need Your Help Now

HIBNA is actively engaged in legal action to defend the Neighborhood Plan and ensure responsible development. This effort is essential — but it is also costly.

Legal expenses are mounting, and our bank account is close to empty.

We can only continue to operate and defend our community with the financial support of our members and neighbors.

How You Can Support HIBNA

We respectfully ask you to help by becoming a member, renewing your membership, and/or making a donation. All contributions go directly toward legal costs and preserving Historic Inlet Beach as it was intended.

With sincere appreciation,

Historic Inlet Beach Neighborhood Association (HIBNA)
