Attention Inlet Beach Property Owners:

Updated: Apr 1

You will be receiving a proposed Amendment to the Historic Inlet Beach Neighborhood Plan via mail this week. This is being sent by our own HIBNA attorneys to tighten up the HIBNA Plan and STOP the County from changing the entire Inlet Plan which would allow hotels along Hwy 98 throughout Inlet.

Please APPROVE the proposed Amendment that you receive to stop hotel development. Return your response as soon as possible.

This Amendment is an attempt by HIBNA and HIBNA attorneys to STOP the County from changing the HIBNA Plan.

Background: The County has indicated they plan to change the zoning on the HIBNA Plan to allow hotels along Hwy 98 throughout Inlet Beach in violation of the HIBNA Plan.

HIBNA attorneys are seeking to tighten up the Inlet Plan to prevent the County from making this change and preserve the neighborhood as the HIBNA plan intended..

Please APPROVE the mailed Amendment change you receive in the mail and return it. It was sent by HIBNA’s attorneys in an effort to stop the county from allowing hotels. The parcel at 30th Ave has been exempted simply because the county screwed up and it would take years of litigation to fight it at this point. This Amendment is trying to protect the remaining parcels that would be changed to allow hotels.

To protect the Inlet neighborhood from future hotels, the County must receive 66% of owner respondents who APPROVE THE AMENDMENT that you are receiving via mail. Responses must be received within 30 days.

If they do not receive 66% responses IN FAVOR of the amendment that tightens up our Plan,

hotels will be allowed throughout Inlet Beach

Also, get involved. Join the Board.

Make significant donations to HIBNA via the website.

Donations will go to attorney fees. HIBNA has almost zero overhead. Your donations cover much-needed attorney fees.
