We Made the News!

Today on WJHG, there was a story about the Alvin's Island development, and the "Large stack of emails from area residents".

The HIBNA directors received an email March 29th talking about the Alvin Island store, which sprung the HIBNA directors into action. The members of HIBNA received an email April 2nd which detailed the development as well as contact names and emails of the Director of Planning and Development and the County Commissioners. This is where being a member has its value, the members were mobilized to act fast, sending out emails to the Director of Planning and Development and the County Commissioners resulting in the news story (Linked above).
