Update on Commissioners' Meetings (1/27/2025)

The Walton County Commissioners meeting that is discussing options of revising the Inlet Beach Neighborhood Plan with the (so called) scrivener's error has been rescheduled for sometime in February. We will relay the date and time once it has been posted by the county. HIBNA's position is that the revision would be one that removes the "scrivener's error" to clarify the Plan's intent for only to have lodging accommodations not to exceed 10 lodging rooms.  

February 5th is the meeting to approve the final order of Hotel Rain in Inlet Beach. This meeting is at 4:00pm at the Freeport Commons BCC Boardroom at 842 State Hwy 20 East, Suite 118, Freeport, FL. This is a public meeting! This meeting is to approve to add a parcel to 30 Avenue development, construct a 78-unit hotel with parking garage and associated infrastructure on 3.34 +/- acres with a future land use of Mixed Use and a zoning category of Village Mixed Use.
